I am currently an in-network provider with Aetna and Anthem/BlueCross BlueShield insurances. I am also in-network with United Healthcare's UVA student plan (but not with United Healthcare more broadly).
If I am not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to file for out-of-network benefits. To find out, call the member service number on your insurance card and ask if your plan includes out of network benefits for outpatient mental/behavioral health. Make note of this information, and my Billing Specialist or I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.
You may also elect to pay out-of-pocket and not involve insurance at all. Under certain circumstances, I am open to negotiating my out-of-pocket fees.
If you do not have insurance, I am not in-network, or you elect not to use insurance to pay for services, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services before we begin. More information about this is available in my intake forms.
